ORGANIZATIONAL RCISM;

Institutional racism was firstly introduced by Sir William Macpherson in the report of UK Lawrence in 1999 as:

“The collective failure of an organization to provide an appropriate and professional service to people because of their color, culture, or ethnic origin. It can be seen or detected in processes, attitudes, and behavior that amount to discrimination through prejudice, ignorance, thoughtlessness, and racist stereotyping which disadvantage minority ethnic people.”

If we define it simply, we can say that A type of racism in any organization where race brings a different hierarchy of access to the goods, services, and opportunities available in society.

By the word “INSTITUTE “we mean that any of the organization and “RCISM” in general it means if someone is given more priority to the access of opportunities, good, ideas, promotions, etc, on the basis of his origin, religion, region culture or nationality.

Institutional racism is not a specific context to feel and tolerate. It can be found at any of the organizations of the state. Some major organizations of the developed and advanced countries are like in Health department, military department, educational department, civil department or funds department, sports department that suffers highly with the racist culture.

Institutional racism impact very harshly any organization as it could be called a form of injustice. In Institutional racism we are enabling to choose the right person for the specified task, we are promoting the racist culture as much as we could, for any organization if thinking from scratch if the first foundation is on racism is not going to touch the skies limits.

A quote by sir DaShanne Stokes clearly describes that how much it is important to eradicate the roots of organizational racism as early as we can.

“Racist legacy laws and modern racist practices are all part of the same system, and it needs to be changed now.”

― Duchenne Stokes

IMPACT OF RACISM ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMUNITY;

When people are applying for the job in the police department of the country but the candidate is selected based on any sort of racism the other person who is its self the countryman of united Arab emirate would never like to serve his country as the high officers are wrong he/she would never choose such profession.

After being select of the employee observed that the punishment, arrested are inquiries are being of the religious or any other racism he would never trust on the justice.

It is the right of the people to get justice in any condition but if the police department is not interested and making small to big decisions based on racism and favoritism the people will never get justice.

The foremost and major impact of racism culture on the Abu Dhabi police and UAE community is of trust issues, it will generate unavoidable trust issues in the mind of the people dwelling in UAE.

Ø If taking into account the police who is struggling day and night for the positives and betterment of its nation, and on the other hand the concept of institutional racism that is like the worst evil to any nation, both are contradictory to each other due to this the image of the police department of will be unworthy for the people.

Racism brings a mindset of organizational slavery same goes for the police department.

No one will love to choose the police department as a profession as they observe any sort of racism. They would conclude that they are not suitable for such a department. Racism brings corruption in society and this can’t be hidden from the eyes of people.

Summarizing the content, the relationship between people and police will damage drastically if the seed of racism is growing faster and faster day by day.
