With respect to the professional engineering act, a provincial statute was declared that is called PEO. what is PEO responsible for? the PEO main motive is to the licensing and management of licensing holders that are practicing and applying professional engineering and companies who are providing the job to practicing in their supervisions.
Ø What is professional engineering?
The earlier it was not easy to get a degree of engineering and entitled ourselves as “engineer” there are a history and many amendments behind it.
Now, professional engineering means “Professional engineer,” concerning this action is a person who can showcase the professional practice of rendering her/his services with the help of creativity, education, training, experience in the engineering field.
The person who knows the engineering terminologies and most of them knew maths physicists, other than investigation ability, evaluation power, management, planning, designing skills.
The person who can design the privately or publically structures, machines, processes, circuits, buildings, equipment.

Ø Details of amendemants;
1. Regulation 941/90 of the Professional Engineers Act.
The amendment was passed in month of April 13 in the year 2015, in Toronto. This is also known as Regulation 941/90 of the Professional Engineers Act. This amendment focused to Limited License and Certificate of Authorization to the engineers of different branches.

2. Regulation 941 Amendment, the year 2020
Another amendment was effective from December 7, 2020. It was under the Professional Engineers Act Regulation 941.
3. Professional Engineers Act Amended, the year 2017
On date of December 14, 2017, another Stronger, Fairer Ontario Act bill no 117 was passed. the change was brought into third reading in which the legislature and received Royal Assent from the lieutenant governor was put.
4. Regulation 941 Amended, year 2015
In the month of April year was 2015, a change was brought in the Regulation 941/90 of the Professional Engineers Act. It started focusing on to make the more strength in the regulations of the engineering by PEO. The registrar of the regulation for Ontario were responsible for this.
Ø PROBLEMS;
This regulator effects the make sure that the engineers are well certified to provide services to the customers many of the cases had issued that non-quality individuals created issues that brought a huge loss to health and weight. After this regulation, the companies that are hiring the engineerings could bring a standard that their employees are enough certified and well trusted, and the engineers that are trying to make them valuable got an opportunity to prove their abilities with the help of a PEO license.

What is PEO;
PEO stands for “professional engineers Ontario” it’s the organization who serve the licensing of the engineering under its consideration few of standard is set to achieve the PEO registration. Now according to a record, there are almost 83000 engineers around the globe that are providing guaranteed service to the public not wasting their health, property, economic interests. the companies are satisfied with this decision. The POE registered engineers can be identified easily be “P.ENG” tag after their name.
In the first stage of regulation, it was considered as the “open regulation” which means anyone practicing the engineering could be registered by associated members
After the amendment in 1937 it was declared to be “closed” to non-qualified engineers; that is, licensure was made necessary for any engineering individual for practicing and having a job and the license is managed by PEO.

The first law for professional engineering was brought in 1922
Ø purpose:
the purpose of this law was to look after the membership in an association that was not essential for applying to engineer.
Ø Comments;
There must be certification of the engineers as there are many branches of engineering where the lives of the peoples are in the hand of some engineering like mechanical, civil, petroleum, architecture engineering, all of these are highly related to the fieldwork and it is necessary to have almost the certification so that the companies can guarantee and the individual can get the satisfaction.
